| A Brief Introduction |

When one thinks of the art of Paris, Impressionism and history are often the first images that come to mind. In music, Debussy and Liszt stand like two luminous ambassadors of these enduring legacies.

The canvas of my ambient piano work is painted with hues of Debussy, Liszt, select preludes by Bach, and a subtle inflection of jazz. With more than ten years of experience as an ambient pianist, I have had the privilege of performing in refined spaces — hotels, cafés, and bars — offering listeners a musical experience that is both immersive and delicately unobtrusive.

Though my formal training in piano and composition was completed at a traditional conservatoire, my approach is shaped by an attentiveness to setting and mood. I favour a repertoire that complements the quiet rhythm of dining and conversation, avoiding the more thunderous dramatics of certain Beethoven sonatas or Chopin études — which, while masterful, may overwhelm rather than accompany.

For me, the highest art in ambient performance lies in the balance between silence and presence — in music that lends grace to the murmur of conversation, and harmonises with the scent of wine.
